MPs Are Fueling Banditary In North Rift, They Are Our Collegues And We Know It- Senator Onyonka Says

The current security operations taking place in the North Rift region has opened a new conversation in the political arena. This comes at a time when Ruto has already ordered an operation to take place and ensure that all bandits are arrested.

Senator Onyonka has revealed that the war against banditary can only be won if there is political good will. He was keen to note that some members of parliament are directly involved in it where they supply stolen animals to Kenya meat commission.

He went ahead to note that the area members of parliament buy guns and fund the bandits at they carry out raids in different regions. The stolen animals are then transported to Nairobi under security and sold by these leaders.

Onyonka has revealed that the operation only takes place for a while and then political intervention takes over and the operation is immediately stopped. He has highlighted that Ruto can stop these activities if he is willing to do it since they have all the intelligence apparatus to arrest the people fueling this activities.
