The National tallying centre at the Bomas of Kenya has been doing commendable work. IEBC is rushing against time to finalise the verification process before announcing and declaring the winner of the presidential election. Kenyans have also been cautioned against interfering with the process that is underway by giving Kenyans fake news. The Azimio and Kenya Kwanza allies are both confident that their candidate will be declared as the winner. As the tallying exercise goes on it has emerged that Raila Odinga and William Ruto are the front-runners in the race and the gap between them is believed to be slim.
The security agents have also played a crucial role in this election and they have displayed a high level of integrity and their work has also been efficient. In his remarks Senator-elect for Elgeyo Marakwet has delivered a bold message to congratulate these officers. In his remarks he said, "I salute all the security and state officers who are working hard to ensure smooth transition.I specifically loud all those who have defied unlawful orders to subvert democracy. I do not know how the 5th will appreciate you but in due course I will make public your acts of patriotism."
