Hon Sospeter Odeke Ojaamong, the current governor of Busia county and a close ally of Hon Raila Odinga, sparked an online debate when he posted the following immediately after attending a Mega Rally for Azimio coalition in the western region.
According to his most recent post, he joined their fifth President, H.E Raila Odinga, on his Western tour of Trans-Nzoia and Bungoma counties on Friday.
Perhaps he said they had concluded a mega rally at Posta grounds in Bungoma, and that he and his fellow Governors from the Western region had agreed to work until the wee hours of the morning to ensure that Raila Odinga receives a majority of votes from the Western region in his bid for the presidency.
His post drew a number of comments from Kenyans, the majority of whom congratulated him on his support for Raila Odinga's political ambitions. Here are some of their responses:
