President William Samoei Ruto's men under the Kenya Kwanza camp have reportedly moved with speed to take a legal action after receiving intelligence on what the Raila-led Azimio La Umoja coalition affiliated allies are silently planning against Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

In a statement issued by the Farmer's Party Chairperson, Irungu Nyakera on Friday 30, 2022, he accused the Azimio coalition of plotting to deregister the President's UDA party from the list of political parties in Kenya.
Mr Nayakera argued that the Registrar of political parties is being pushed to delist both UDA and Farmer's Party by the Azimio affiliates for failing to register as data processors by June 25 2021, yet the registration was due on July 14, 2022.
"A cursory perusal of the suit confirms that the same raises matters falling purely within the purview of the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties and Data Commissioner but since the main objective of the suit is to mud-sling UDA and its affiliates, the petitioners had to approach the courts," part of the statement read.
