Anne Waiguru Given a Hard Time at Kagio After What Crowd Did (Video)

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru during an evening rally of Deputy President William Ruto faced a tough crowd.

DP Ruto had invited Governor Waiguru to address the crowd at Kagio, Kirinyaga County but she did not receive a warm welcome.

The crowd started to shout as some waved their hands as a sign of disapproval when Waiguru was being assisted to climb the small podium that was set up next to Ruto’s car.

Kagio residents heckled Governor Waiguru as she struggled to address the crowd and she was forced to shout as Ruto watched in silence.

Waiguru tried to calm the crowd down by saying the UDA slogan but the shouting from the crowd continued.

The crowd did not respond when the Governor shouted, “Harambee, UDA! UDA!” forcing her to continue with her remarks.

Waiguru however quickly spoke as heckling continued and she only said a few words before stepping down to allow another Tangatanga politician to speak.

“Mimi nimesema yakwamba tuko katika chama cha UDA. Tumekubaliana? (I have said we are in UDA Party. Are we in agreement?). How many are in UDA, by show of hands,” said Waiguru as she ended her remarks after not getting any response.
