In Homabay Its a two Horse race between incumbent Womanrep Gladys Wanga (ODM) and former Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero (Indipendent).
According to Mizani Africa, Gladys Wanga has floored Kidero with a 20 percent margin ahead of August 9th polls.
The two leader who are supporting the former prime Minister Raila Odinga as their preferred presidential candidate have been battling it out for weeks in the famous Nyanza County.
Kidero refused to bow out of the race after ODM decided to hand over the party's ticket to him.
The two have been exchanging some bitter words with chaotic scenes also witnessed during their rallies.
Currently, leaders have been hitting the ground trying to gunner more votes ahead of August 9th polls.
Kidero seems like he will have to work extra hard to win against his close ODM rival.
Homabay is a well known ODM strong hold and anyone without the said party might miss out in the August 9 General Elections.
