Raila Beats Wajackoyah Seven Times Over In His Own Polling Station

Prof. George Wajackoyah, a presidential candidate for the Roots Party, received just 51 votes at the Indangalasia Primary School polling place in the Matungu Constituency of Kenya.

The maverick politician who shook up the local political scene with proposals straight out of an outlier's rule book (marijuana, hyena testicles, snake venom, etc.), according to results from Form 34A published by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), failed to live up to the hype at the voting booth.

Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja received 799 votes at the polling place, while William Ruto of the UDA received 109.

He will be surprised by Prof. Wajackoyah's 51 votes following a voting day that began with issues with the IEBC's KIEMS kits.

His information was personally verified later, and he was able to cast a ballot.

The hotly contested race is currently seeing Ruto at the top as per the latest provisional results.
