Ruto Leads With 49.9%, Mwangi Wa Iria Follows, And Raila Gets 4.7% In The Latest Opinion Poll

The 2022 elections is fast approaching and every candidate is trying to outshine the other one when it comes to 2022 politics. William Ruto and Raila Odinga have been fighting to Mt Kenya votes with the latest visits by Raila Odinga to the counties of Laikipia, Muranga, Kiambu and Nyeri hinting that 'baba' could get substantial amount of votes from the vote rich region.

William Ruto is seen as the most popular presidential candidate and the latest opinion poll according to star newspaper reveals that William Ruto leads with over 49.9 percent. Raila is second with less than ten percent with the other majority being undecided. However, things might change before 2022 as Uhuru Kenyatta might campaign directly for the former prime minister.

Central region has never voted for an 'outsider' since independence and in 2023, it is clear that they will not vote for that 'outsider' almost to the man. The votes will be split into various presidential candidates. However, it is still a huge blow for Uhuru and Raila despite open attacks against the second in command.
