Ukambani Leader Sends Message To Azimio

Deputy President William Ruto led his Kenya Kwanza Team for campaigns in Embu, Kitui County's Mwingi, and Machakos on Friday, just days after unveiling Rigathi Gachagua as his running partner. 

Thousands of villagers flocked to hear Ruto, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, and Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi speak. 

Regional leaders pushed locals to support the Kenya Kwanza Alliance in all three places, arguing that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance is more concerned with Kenyan interests than the Azimio side.

Francis Maliti, the Machakos deputy governor, left the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya with his boss, Governor Mutua of Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC). He said that Kenya Kwanza, like the MCC party, is advocating for issues that affect Kenyans' lives, and that they are happy to be in the right place.

He chastised the Azimio wing of the ODM party, led by Raila Odinga, for humiliating leaders and failing to openly debate concerns within their coalition, thereby taking other leaders for a ride, which he described as "not a good leadership show."
