Uhuru To Chair Peace Talks In Nairobi

The former president Uhuru Kenyatta will share peace talks in Nairobi between the M23 rebels and the government of the Republic of Congo. The talks are aimed at coming up with solutions which can take DRC Congo to the next ladder of success.

President Ruto is determined to focus on peace talks and that's why he has assigned Uhuru Kenyatta the responsibility of chairing the meetings. Ruto has been hailed by the United States and the United Kingdom who believe in his efforts to unite East African Community.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has majorly focused on ensuring that a lasting peace is restored in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's a responsibility he has discharged with commitment and zeal in his efforts to ensure that Kenya becomes the huge peace initiator in Africa.

The former president Uhuru Kenyatta has been in DRC Congo, M23 zone listening to the people. He was shocked to hear that the M23 rebels have focused more on displacing people and issues around murder of innocent civilians.
