It's no longer a rumour but now a fact that the Westlands member of parliament will be contesting for governor's seat in Bungoma. Hon Tim Wanyonyi Wetangula is one of the longest serving mps with lucrative development records. He has however been in exile for the major part of his life. This coming year, he will be heading back to Bungoma.
He's a brother to the Bungoma Senator hon Moses Masika Wetangula who is also the chairman of Ford Kenya. It's however, not very clear whether he will vie on ODM party ticket. According to the short chat with Hon Waluke Press, it came clear that he may remain in ODM party.
The campaign will slowly take shape as Hon Waluke is already engaging the grassroot leaders; MCAs as well as fellow mps. The sudden shift in ideologies and support for the vocal leaders has left many agape. We are waiting for the 'Big Announcement' by Kimilili counterpart. He promised to let the cat out of the bag as 12:30 today.
Stay tuned to get facts as soon as they unveil.
