Westlands Constituency member of parliament Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, who has declared interest in becoming the next Nairobi's governor on the Orange Democratic Movement party ticket has sent a stern warning to the Raila led party.
Wanyonyi warned that the party should not favour any person in primaries, he challenged the party's leadership to ensure the process will be free and fair to avoid fallout and mass exodus ahead of the general elections.
Wanyonyi warned that should the party favour any individual then it will likely lose the Nairobi's top seat to rival parties.
He noted the importance of recapturing the seat which they lost in 2017 to Jubilee arguing that it will be good for the party to control both city and National politics when Raila becomes the next president.
This follows numerous reports that ODM could already be having a list of favourite candidates in various seats in the forthcoming general elections.
