Political temperatures have gradually continued to hit the peak as fresh details emerge on daily. This happens as a lot of information circulates among the public, both true and false. There is a lot of media exerggerations to trigger some influence force and attitude towards certain politicians in the country.
There has been a fabricated poster making rounds in social media claiming that DP Ruto has chosen Martha Karua to be his running mate. This has been declared fake because of a number of reasons. First, DP Ruto has been making rounds in Mt. Kenya but he has never declared who is going to be his running mate.
Martha Karua is among those struggling to safeguard the political future of Mt. Kenya however, she has never talked about appearing on the presidential ballot. The poster making rounds on media was captioned;
“Ruto na Karua, pamoja tusonge mbele (Ruto and Karua, together we move forward)”.
This poster has been declared fake.
