Many people expected deputy president William Ruto to choose Kithure Kindiki as his running mate. However, it didn't happen and Gachagua took it over. Kithure has however continued to support Rutto and his team. He however said that he doesn't want any position after August general elections.
This afternoon, Ruto has revealed the bigger plans that he has for Kithure Kindiki in 2032. As the Star newspaper reports, during the Tharaka Nithi economic forum, he told residents that they should not be angry that Kithure didn't get the running mate position, this is because he is planning that he will succeed him in 2032 if he wins the presidency.
That he is mentoring him for the big seat. That him and Gachagua are ageing and when they leave, they will want to leave the seat for a younger person who is Kithure. That he is preparing him for the big assignment.
