As the days moves closer to Monday 20th March, 2023. Azimio leaders have raised concerns to their supporters that the government may be trying to stop them from participating in the protests through house arrest. Hon. Philip Etale who is one of the major Azimio's leaders said that the government may try to block some leaders from participating in the protests which he says will not work.

"Azimio leaders house arrests won’t woork. The protests will be spearheaded by Kenyans and not the leaders. The leaders have done their part and the people will just turn out to defend their Democracy and fight for their rights." Said Hon Philip Etale.

Azimio plans to verge in Nairobi CBD on Monday to protest against President William Ruto's regime which they say that has made life unbearable for ordinary Citizens. The costs of various commodities have been in the same rise which has seen many dig deep into their pockets to afford these basic commodities.
