Today was a very sad day for the Kamba community people and all Kenyans generally having lost yet another leader and public figure who served as a member of parliament for Kibwezi West constituency. The former MP, Kalembe Ndile died at the hospital while undergoing treatment gor a diseases he had sustained for the last couple of weeks.
Richard Kalembe Ndile was a firm member of the Jubilee coalition after he merged his TIP party, The Independent Party, in 2013.
The important political news was made known to the public through a nationwide media station, NTV Kenya, who wrote on their twitter page, "Mourning Kalembe Ndile: Former Kibwezi West MP Kalembe Ndile dies at the Nairobi Hospital, aged 57. Kalembe, who served as an MP from 2002 to 2007, has always worked hard to remain alive in Kenya's collective memory."
Netizens were all emotional to the news posted by the Nation Television where they expressed their condolences to the grieved family with the Head of State Commendation, Dennis Itumbi, tweeting, "Go well, Kalembe Ndile. Sad Ending, to a politician who used humour and other techniques to remain relevant even after being voted out. Largely a good guy. Safari salama."
