Felix Oduor, popularly known as Jalango is a household name both in the entertainment world and in the media houses. He has amassed a larger following in his social media pages because of his comical and a thriving career. He is a perfect example of persons from humble background who has risen to the pinnacle of success but he still thrives for more thanks to his hardworking nature.
His recent declaration to contest for the Langata parliamentary seat has left tongues wagging among politicians and political commentators. He is warming up to dethrone the incumbent MP Nixon Korir, who is prospected to defend his seat on DP affiliated party UDA. Jalango’s entry has raised fears in the DP camp.
Langata previously an ODM stronghold is gearing up for a bruising battle in 2022 owing to Jalango’s candidature, hopefully on an ODM ticket. Also in ODM is longest serving Aide and ally of Raila, Silas Chepkeres Jakakimba, a flamboyant lawyer and staunch supporter of Raila Odinga. But pundits see Jalango edging out his opponents thanks to his jovial charisma and his massive following on the ground especially among the youths and women.
