West Pokot Senator Samuel Poghisio has hinted through his official twitter page reassuring the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga that what happened to him in Iten will not repeat itself in West Pokot County.
According to him the West Pokot residents are very loving and peaceful and that his security is safe ahead of his tour in the county. He further added that any leader behind such uncouth activities in Iten should be arrested and charged.

"Watch as West Pokot welcomes Baba the 5th. The peaceful community will not be incited by anyone to throw stones like the warriors of Iten. Azimio-One Kenya is not ready for tribal clashes as provoked. Any leader behind such uncouth activities should be arrested and charged".
