.Gathitu Maina is husband to Muranga women representative and one of the biggest supporters of BBI and the handshake Sabina Chege. He also has a first wife but all her wives have lived peacefully and harmoniously.

Gathitu Maina is former Kenya dairy board Chairman and an humble man but determined to have his family remain united. He is the head of the family and it doesn't matter whether Sabina Chege is powerful or not.

Gathitu Maina has been very supportive to her wife through her political journey. His efforts is however behind the scenes. He was however once seen taking her wife Sabina Chege to IEBC offices to pick her election certificate as a women representative for Muranga.

This caused serious debate across social media circles as some people accused him of favoritism. However the first wife did not complain and it's obvious the family coexist in peace with respect for one another. This is however not the norm in most families that are polygamous as infighting is the order of the day. Gathitu has succeeded in keeping his family as one indivisible only focused in success.

Gathitu marriage with Sabina Chege was officiated as per the Kikuyu traditions and they are now legally husband and wife. Sabina Chege has also respected her husband despite being politically powerful and connected to the powers that be.

Gathitu Maina respects all her too wives equally and does not favour any of them. He however keeps a low profile as nothing much is known about him. His focus is to only see his family through success as well be a fatherly figure to his family as the head.

Gathitu political inclination is not known as he is not a politician. Despite having Sabina Chege there in the political space as well a public figure, Gathitu keeps and largely lives a private life with less personal life to the public arena.
