The race to the August General Elections is right around the corner with various candidates doing their last minute preparations to ensure that they win in the race.

The candidates, who hail from various parties, are doing their best to ensure that they gain the favor of the electorate and thus win in the upcoming General Elections.
One of the candidates that over the past few days has emerged as one of the favorites in the Kiambu County race is Mwende Gatabaki.
Mwende Gatabaki-Ndii is the daughter of Former Githunguri Member of Parliament and she is gunning for the top Kiambu Seat on a Safina Party ticket.
Safina Party ticket is not affiliated to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance nor the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition.
This morning, according to reliable reports from Citizen TV Kenya this morning, David Ndii, who is the economic advisor on the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and a close confidante of Deputy President William Ruto, has admitted to campaigning for his wife.
David Ndii, an economist by proffesion and who was appointed by Deputy President William Ruto to head his economic team, appears to be campaigning for his wife who is running against a United Democratic Alliance party candidate in Kiambu County, Kimani Wamatangi.
Mwende Gatabaki-Ndii is running against Tujibebe party William Kabogo, Jubilee David Nyoro, UDA's Kimani Wamatangi who is currently the Senator of Kiambu, and Chama Cha Kazi Moses Kuria who is also the Member of Parliament for Gatundu.
David Ndii has said that he is in fact the campaign manager for his wife's team in Kiambu County and hopes his wife will take the day.
