The race to unseat various reigning leaders in the Kenyan leadership is heating up day by day as leader are engaging in bitter exchange of words in their rallies as they look to tarnish the names of their rivals and build theirs.
However a video has been posted by a radio journalist Fred Arocho who is well known for his commentary skills in the world of football showing that former harambee stars skipper McDonald Mariga was attacked in kibra where he was Campaigning for his candidature and also his united democratic association party.
"Former soccer international McDonald Mariga Attacked during campaign in kibra. Quick recovery mcheza," Arocho captioned the video.
In the video Mariga can be seen being attended to by some doctors in an undisclosed hospital with bandages all over him.
This is not the first case of a politician being attacked during the Campaigns but severally goons have always been reported to disrupt several rallies.
