Members of Parliament threaten to strike over the Community Development Fund (CDF) disbursement.
In today's live proceedings the members of parliament demanded that the government should let the funds allocated for County Development fund be disbursed.
The community Development Fund has helped thousands of the less fortunate Kenyans in the rural areas to pursue their education.
The CDF always pays some fee to the less fortunate students down to the village level around the country. The area chief are always given the mandate to select the students who should be given the funds. This makes it more reliable across the country.
Kenyans have reacted on social media separately. Oscar wuod ligega said "How can mps strike for sure, they just need to come with a bill and pass it,that's it"
Others went ahead to questioning the date they are planing to strike. Albert posted "When are they going on strike?"
The proceedings are ongoing in parliament. With Mp Dismus baraza bill tabled.
