Deputy President said it firmly that he won't be resigning. He maintained that he is currently the Deputy President of the nation and nothing is going to change that. Those who wanted him to go should now look at other means of taking him home. Means like impeaching him, something that is also difficult basing the fact that Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju stated publicly that the party has no intentions of impeaching the second in command.
For that reason, those who don't want to see DP William Ruto as the Deputy President will have to swallow their bitterness and wait until the next general election in order to take action at the ballot. In the meantime, DP William Ruto will continue walking around the nation using the Jubilee government developments to popularize himself while still distancing himself from the government at times of failures.
Very soon, Deputy President William Ruto will be touring Nandi County. It will not be a campaign but a development tour which will definitely be used to campaign for 2022 general election. Prior to DP William Ruto's visit, Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang has sent a warm message to his visitor in a county where Ruto has been undergoing some difficulty with legislator Alfred Keter.
"Karibu @Nandi29 H.E Deputy President Dr. @WilliamRuto." Tweeted Stephen Sang.
