United Democratic Alliance's Kilifi Gubernatorial Candidate Aisha Jumwa has fearlessly called upon her party leader deputy President William Ruto, and the Pamoja Africa Alliance's boss Governor Amason Kingi to give George Kithi a position in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance government.
Speaking during Ruto's rally in Kilifi on Wednesday, Jumwa told both Ruto and Kingi to implore Kithi, who is the gubernatorial candidate for the PAA party, to drop his bid and support her.
She claimed that it is only her who has the political muscle to face it and defeat the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance's candidate Gideon Mung'aro.
"Your Excellency, I am kindly asking you to set aside a seat for George Kithi at the national government. Allow him to serve us at the national level, and let me battle it out with our opponent to succeed Governor Kingi," Jumwa told Ruto.
"Governor Kingi, kindly allow your aunt and younger sister here, Aisha Jumwa, to run for Kilifi's governor under Kenya Kwanza Alliance. It is only Aisha who has the muscles to defeat Azimio's candidate," she told the two term governor.
Kingi joined Kenya Kwanza Camp few days ago, and his entry has been causing sibling rivalry in Kilifi, with Ruto expected to solve the differences before he completes his Coastal Region rally.
