Kenyan artist Kevin Bahati seems to be out of favour with a section politicians, this has been significantly revealed in a brief video that has gone viral on social media platforms. In the time lapse video, the singer can be seen climbing down the car in a rally held at Mathare constituency. Despite his attempt to withstand the pressure from the politicians around him, the singer was forced to leave the rally unceremoniously.
The event comes weeks after the fallout with ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna, a situation that saw Bahati and Sifuna hold a spat online. The singer further claimed that his opponents were fighting him day and night in an attempt to stop him from vying for the Mathare paliamentary seat under the Jubilee ticket.
The singer further reiterated that he was offered a handout of ksh 50 million to drop his political bid for the Mathare MP seat and support his opponent Anthony Oluoch who is vying for the same seat in ODM ticket.
