President Uhuru yesterday held a virtual meeting with party leaders at state house Nairobi with the main agenda of the meeting being the wrangles being witnessed in the BBI camp ahead of the looming Referendum.
While the meeting also touched on the COVID-19 and the latest measures introduced by Uhuru, it has now emerged that DP Ruto also topped the agenda during the meeting.
This is after Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has leaked some sensitive information of what was discussed yesterday.
Speaking to the Daily Nation, Ngilu has stated that the meeting was an avenue for them to agree that they were facing a common enemy who is DP Ruto.
To counter the influence of DP Ruto and his hustler nation narrative, Ngilu has revealed that they have now agreed to form a coalition that will stop Ruto once and for all.
She has also stated that they will now form a broader coalition ahead of the 2022 general elections.
This comes at a time Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has withdrawn his candidate from the Machakos By-election in what seems to be part of the discussion during Uhuru's meeting with them yesterday.
