Cabinet Secretary for Transport Kipchumba Murkomen, on the 6th day of November 2022 fulfilled his promised to release the Standard Guage Railway agreement between the Jubilee government and the Export Import Bank Of China.

The agreement was released to the media houses for Kenyans to be able to get to know its contents for the first time. The move was lauded by Kenyans and even the political class.
The release of the agreement to the public became impossible during former president Uhuru Kenyatta's regime, this kept raising eyebrows.
Reacting to this, former presidential candidate Mwalimu Abduba Dida, lauded Murkomen and urged him to continue working with openness.
Mwalimu Dida noted that Murkomen has a bright future if he continues working the same way. "Your future is great! Lead with openness, fairness and complete transparency. Good work waziri." Mwalimu Abduba Dida posted on his official social media pages.
