The second in command today took his campaigns to the West pokot where he interacted with his supporters from the region.

During his visit, William Ruto said security can be achieved through deliberate programme that focus on investment in agriculture and infrastructure that will open the region to local and foreign investments.
During his visit, the second in command had received leaders including Pokot west member of parliament honourable Lilian Cheptoo and her Sigor counterpart honourable Peter Lochkapong and former Sigor member of parliament honourable Philip Rotino and former governor Simon Kachapin.
The leaders have promised to work with the second in command, popularise his presidential bid in the region and even defend their political seats on UDA party ticket.
