Museveni's Son Muhoozi Hits Out at the Ethiopian Government Asks Why They are Killing his People

The commander of Uganda Land Forces and son of President Yoweri Museveni General Muhoozi Kaneirugaba has accused the Ethiopian government of killing his relatives.

Taking to his social media pages, Muhoozi wrote that it makes him sad that his brothers in Ethiopia are fighting him. "You are now fighting my tribe in Tigray. Tigrayans are part of us," reads part of his tweet.

The tweet by the General elicited mixed reactions online as can be seen below.

In trying to expound the relationship between Muhoozi and Tigray, Ketra Ankunda suggested that Tigryans are related with the Bahima of Uganda and Tutsi of Rwanda. However, we cannot independently verify this.

Though some were not enthused by the Generals sentiments with some wondering whether his account was hacked "Is this really the account of General Muhoozi Kaneirugaba? I doubt that it is the General himself. Some of the stuff are too much undiplomatic to be of his level. This one about Ethiopia is explosive," wrote Sherango.
