Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto made a big gamble of his political career as he revealed his preffered running mate ahead of the fourth coming general elections to be held in August this year. DP Ruto unveiled Mathira Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua who defeated Tharaka Nithi County Senator Kindiki Kithure.
The latest opinion polls carried out by the former president of the Law Society of Kenya Nelson Havi has revealed the preferred presidential candidate after the announcement. According to his post, Nelson Havi revealed that DP William Ruto is leading with over 60% followed the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga who came in a distance second with only 22.2%. If anything Nelson Havi's polls should not be taken into consideration given that he is a supporter of DP William Ruto.
"The race for President has now converged to three candidates with Prof George Wajackoyah taking the lead. How will you vote?" Tweeted by former president of the Law Society of Kenya Nelson Havi
