The race to next year's general election is quickly escalating.Politicians are in a rush to convince the voters that they are still very much relevant as far as the implementations of their political agenda are concerned.Every day, they have resorted to meeting the electorates either at their homes or at the grassroot levels.
Raila Odinga is seen as the best bet for President Kenyatta.Last Friday while touring Kibra, the President hinted that Raila would be the best person who would spearhead his legacy.Raila's poweful speech at the Mount Kenya Luncheon gave him a headstart coupled with his previous tours at the region that has always negatively perceived him.
Governor Francis Kimemia has again said that Mount Kenya ow no one any political debt. This statement has been said repeatedly to make it open that the region must not necessarily support DP Ruto.He has also affirmed that all the negative things that had been said about Raila Odinga were just politics. These statements are some revelations that in deed the mountain region is embracing Odinga.
