Amid the confusion on who could battle out President William Ruto in the 2027 elections from the Raila-led Azimio One-Kenya coalition, Kalonzo has now tabled evidence on his intentions.

The Wiper party leader who missed the running mate position in the Azimio camp during the last presidential polls has now vowed to be on the ballot in the next election. Kalonzo has now argued that it has reached point where he also runs for the State House seat.
He has sent a wake up call to his Kamba community, telling them to begin rallying behind him ahead of polls. For the past years, the Ukambani region has been supporting Raila Odinga's candidature in spite of his continuous loses.

Kalonzo has now insisted that there's nothing that'll stop him from being the President of Kenya come 2027 expressing confidence in dethroning William Ruto.
“Kamba community now rise up and be ready for 2027 because there is nothing that will hinder me (Kalonzo) from becoming the next president of Kenya," the former Vice President said.
