An hopeful gubernatorial aspirant who hails from Kapletundo ward within Sotik constituency in Bomet county south rift valley region Eng:John Mosonik has every reason to worry following the overwhelming chances of the Incumbent which keeps on increasing on daily basis.
As the day of polls keeps approaching,the residents have come out and accused the CAS of mining and petroleum Eng.Mosonik for not working to the residents of Bomet as expected.
According to some whom got opportunity to speak to our correspondent,the said leader did not employ even a single youth from his backyard, adding that the said leader is so one person who is hard to give.
In a couple of months ago,John Mosonik through his official facebook account told his residents that they should not expect any penny from him, adding that his money belongs to him and his family.
In his post,the hopeful leader continues that,those hoping to get handouts from him will be in for a rude shock,the sentiments which has led him to be irrelevant as far as the politics are concern that is according to Bomet residents.
John has been transversing round the county in selling his gurbernatorial bid with only one agenda,'people should work hard and stop depending on other people's resources'
Mr.Weldon Korir who hails a kilometer away from his home accused the hopeful leader for not extending the tarmac road which the said leader constructed but stop at his main gate despite of receiving several requests from the villagers on the same issue.
"Mheshimiwa alitengeneza lami hadi kwake tu,tumemwomba atleast hatufikizie centers pale chini lakini amekataa," Korir said.
"Hapa kwetu na Sotik kwa jumla tunaumga mkono gavana Barchok, atleast ameajiri watu wengi huku kwetu sotik, ECDs pia amejenga," He added.
"Huyo wetu ni malingumu sana,na hatumwoni nyumbani,tunajua tu hivi karibuni atakuja na kuanza kutundanya,lakini watu wameamua ni Barchok," Korir concluded.
Mrs.Esther Turgut who hails from Chemagel ward in Sotik constituency did also showers alot of praises to the Incumbent while criticising the optimistic leader Mr.John Mosonik.
According to Mrs.Turgut, Eng.Mosonik has no chances of winning Bomet gurbernatorial seat comes 2022, utilising the same breath to alleged that Barchok has won the hearts of the entire Sotik constituency and Bomet county residents at large.
Turgut added that,the Incumbent has tremendously changed the livelihood of Bomet county residents since he took over from the late governor Dr.Joyce Laboso, adding that the people have made up their mind and they will not change anytime soon.
Eng.John Mosonik will vie for Bomet gurbernatorial seat using the newly created party of United Democratic Alliance party likewise to the Incumbent.
Whoever will win in the UDA primaries will face the Chama Cha Mashinani party leader Hon.Isaac Ruto.
It is now the matter of wait and see whether the Incumbent is going to retain his seat comes 2022 as perceived by many people in Bomet county or not
