Kabogo Hints at Defecting to Raila Camp, Asks Him Deliver This Message to Uhuru

ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga has been camping in the Mt Kenya region in recent weeks popularizing himself ahead of the upcoming 2022 polls. After the Mashujaa Day celebrations, he remained in Central Kenya as he toured Uhuru Kenyatta turf, Kiambu county.

While in his tour he was accompanied by several leaders including former Kiambu governor Hon. William Kabogo. The two addressed a series of rallies in the region, with Kabogo declaring his support for Raila's presidency.

Taking to his social media platforms, the former Kiambu governor has hinted at a switch of allegiance. He posted a video of a car crossing a terrain, and captioned, "Manze msijaribu kunizuia, ntaruka au sio". He was hinting at a possible move of joining Raila camp ahead of the upcoming polls.

William Kabogo during a rally in Githunguri said that the ODM leader is a big friend of his. He said in 2013 the two advocated for the withdrawal of Kenya from the ICC, Hague. He also urged Raila to tell President Uhuru Kenyatta that Kenyans are suffering and they should be exempted from paying tax for the rest of the year.

William Kabogo recently launched Tujibebe Wakenya Party where he declared that he might run for presidency come 2022. Kabogo lost to Waititu in the 2017 polls and has been eying to run for the presidency come 2022.
