President Uhuru Kenyatta's close ally MP Kanini Kega has deconstructed leaders from Mount Kenya region who are supporting DP Ruto and his UDA party while lauding the likes of Mwangi Kiunjuri, Martha Karua and Moses Kuria for their well thought ideas.
"We are also supporting the issue that was brought by honorable Kiunjuri, honorable Martha you know honorable Moses Kuria who have said that for sure we need a vehicle. We are not going on rented vehicles since we have our own and what the deputy president wants is to make sure that everybody is in UDA and the question of negotiating they will be in a very awkward position," said MP Kanini.
MP Kanini went on to compare Mount Kenya leaders who have left Jubilee party for UDA to people who are being given a lift in someone's car and the one driving can take them wherever he wants because they are at his mercy.
"The moment you get in somebody's vehicle, if you are given a lift by anybody Jeff and you have your car that person will take you to wherever he or she wants because you are at the mercy of that person. If you have your vehicle, you will be able to make your own independent decisions," added MP Kanini.
