Mudavadi 'Forced' to Pause His Speech During Mt Kenya Luncheon Over His Remarks Concerning Former CS

ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi on Thursday stole the show at Safari Park during a luncheon with Mount Kenya Foundation after praising the former Justice Minister (Cabinet Secretary) Martha Karua.

Mudavadi during his preach lauded the region for having such a firm leader, who is a true defender of their rights, recounting the time Kofi Annan championed for reconciliation, peace and unity after the 2007 disputed presidential results.

"Through the Kofi Annan Talks, I would say that you people have a solid lady, Martha Karua," said Mudavadi attracting cheers from the leaders.

He added, "As I was a team leader on one side, she was the leader on the other side. She is a tough negotiator, who does not blink. We want such leaders, who work with integrity."

The OKA principal further warned the hearts of the leaders by drumming support for the 'One Man One Vote One Shilling' mantra, adding that resources allocation should reflect the population of a given region.

The luncheon came few hours before Karua met the One Kenya leaders alongside former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo.
