"Kituku should not resign before equipping hospitals with drugs. He is busy disturbing me wanting my job instead of doing his, let him be told to bring drugs tongue hospitals first then everything can follow," he said.
"There is no better job so there is no need to leave your job because you want someone else position yet we need you there," he added.
For a couple of months now people visiting public hospitals in Machakos have been complaining of lack of drugs and other essential things.
"We are forced to buy gloves and drugs from pharmacies because they are not available in the hospitals," said a resident.
Kituku has declared that he will vie for the Kangundo parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
Among other candidates seeking the same seat include former legislator Katatha Maweu, Athanas Ndolo, Rose Wambua among other candidates who are yet to declare interest.
