
Former Governor John Mrutu in Ruto's Rally today
Ruto's quest for the top seat in the August polls has today gotten a nod After a Former governor from Coast was spotted in his convoy today. The former governor having been defeated in the last polls but is on a mission to stage a comeback in this year's poll.

John Mrutu the former Taita Taveta Governor is seeking to endorse Ruto and also make a formidable comeback in the political landscape of the region. He is seeking to recapture his seat from the current governor who is also awaiting to be elected by the locals to serve his second term.

Also present were three governors who are allies of Ruto. The three leaders included the current governor for Kwale Salim Mvurya, his two counterparts from Machakos Mutua Alfred and From Kilifi Governor Kingi. The three exuded so much confidence that Ruto will be the next occupant of the house on the Hill.
