Veteran political analyst Stephen Mutoro, has now informed on the number of votes that President William Ruto will require from Mt Kenya should he contest for the top seat again in 2027.
Taking to his official Twitter page on Saturday night, Mutoro, who was responding to former Presidential Candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot's claims of DP Gachagua slimming the chances of Ruto getting re-elected in 2027, said that the fact is that the second in command has been consolidating Mt Kenya region to be fully behind President Ruto after a section of them having voted for ODM leader Raila Odinga.
According to Mutoro, Ruto will require at most 80 percent of total votes in the region to clinch the country's too seat as he said that anyone who is set to lock horns with Ruto will lose terribly.
"Ndugu Dktr: The opposite could be true. Riggy G is consolidating the mountain and the 'men' is recording huge success. Fact: WSR only needs 80% of Mt Kenya to win 2027 and beyond. I pity anyone - who will want to contest against @WilliamsRuto in 2027. He will win re-run bigtime!" posed Mutoro.
