The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Ruto will have a chance to talk to the public after days of silence since Friday 12th March. His silence came after Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta on that Friday banned political and large social gatherings for 30 days as he announced a raft of measures to stem the spread of Covid-19.
He further ordered security agents to strictly enforce this order. The president announced that more people are getting infected, with the positivity rate increasing alarmingly to the current 13 percent from two percent in January, necessitating a return of old measures.
This made the Deputy President William Ruto to confirm postponing of his political campaigns together with his allies. Meanwhile, there have been new developments in his 'official political party' in the past few days and he didn't have a choice but break the silence and respond to them. One of the main developments is when the Vice Chair David Murathe claimed to be on a mission to ouster Ruto and that the President Uhuru Kenyatta is on the edge of finalizing this mission.
Today, Dennis Utumbi ( Former State house communication and on his twitter account and digital strategist) in his twitter account revealed to Kenyans that the Deputy President William Ruto Will be hosted for two interviews, one in the morning at Citizen radio from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m and the other in the afternoon on Bonga na Jalas show at 1:00 p.m. #bonga na hustler.
Netizens however did not shy away to their excitement and eagerness to listen to what the Deputy President had to say. Why do you think will be the response of the Deputy President to the Jubilee part Vice Chairman David Murathe?
