Kisumu is already awake with locals thronging the streets in a bid urge the IEBC to fasten the process of declaration of who will become the next president of Kenya. This is despite Chebukati saying that the results will be announced at 3 PM.
At the moment police lorries have began to make their way in tge streets in readiness for any eventuality. This is after anxiety has already gripped in the area before Raila or Ruto is announced as president by the elections body which is in a last minute rush to declare the winner.
Kisumu has been known to be hostile on the past elections and the police are taking no chances as they also await the chairman to make public the final announcement. So far Raila and Ruto's teams have already gathered at Bomas ahead of this very important announcement by Wafula Chebukati.
