Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto took his campaign trail in Kirinyaga County as he drummed up support for his presidential bid, Bottom Up Economic Model and the Hustlers Nation Narrative. But at the same time, both Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru and Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Hon Wangui Ngirici have seen their relationship deteriorate significantly as they do not see eye to eye.
Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Hon Wangui Ngirici thought that the she was the favourite in the county until when the matters became complicated. Kirinyaga County residents turned tables on her in presence of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto forcing him to swiftly intervene so as to stop them from heckling at her. In what it is alleged to being supporters of Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru, a section of the crowd decided to heckle Kirinyaga County Woman Representative Hon Wangui Ngirici forcing immediate action from Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto.
