Earlier today, there have been a series of events in the political situation in the country that will greatly influence 2022 general elections. One Kenya Alliance principals today met with Mt. Kenya foundation billionaires at Safari Park hotel. On the other hand, the deputy president camped at Kilgoris in Narok county where he took his campaigns.
The two sets of meetings have stirred reactions in the country with most people lauding the deputy president for meeting people on the ground while other leaders have been meeting billionaires in closed door meetings neglecting the hustlers. It was alleged that the meeting with Mt Kenya foundation billionaires was to vet the leaders and see who is the most suitable to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta after 2022 polls.
On the other hand, the deputy president has been meeting the low class Kenyans who have been neglected for many years. He held his campaigns at the market centre where most people carried out their businesses. This resulted to many saying that he met Kenya foundation.
