According to the Western leaders they called upon the area people to speak in unity and the only person who will assist them speak in unity is Francis Atwoli.
Eugene Wamalwa who is also a leader from the region stated that the area leaders are not fighting for spokesperson seat instead insisted that it is time that the area gets to develop.
He further advised the western Kenya politicians to focus on exterior of the country and they stop focusing on regional politics .The area governor also Wycliffe Oparanya stated that they are working closely with the government to ensure development occurs even they speak in one term with Eugene Walmalwa.
"We could just say hi to each other with Eugene when he was in government, and I was in opposition, but now we speak the same language of development," he said.
