Soon and very soon, President Yoweri Museveni will be out making his address regarding Covid-19 measures. As we are speaking, the people of Uganda are running down a 42 days lockdown. During that period, many of the people have been complaining that they have been suffering and for that reason, they have been pleading with President Museveni to lift the lockdown.
As things seem to be, those prayers have been answered. That is because celebrations and jubilation have filled the air in Uganda after good news leaking to the people ahead of President Yoweri Museveni's public address.
"Gov't is considering easing the current lockdown as a means of revitalizing the economy. Information Minister Dr. Chris Baryomunsi explains that the move will see greater emphasis on channeling more money into initiatives like Emyooga as well as the parish model." Tweeted NTV Uganda.
