Ngunjiri Wambugu Breaks Silence as He Speaks on Nyeri Town Elections

Vocal Nyeri Town Constituency MP Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu has reportedly lost his bid to defend his seat in the just concluded polls.

According to reports, the vocal Deputy President William Ruto critic who was a key Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance footsoldier in Nyeri has lost his seat.

The legislator has broken his silence on the reports of losing his seat questioning the credibility of the results in regards ro the voter turnout.

He has questioned whether voters in Nyeri turned out 70% to vote on Tuesday 9th in the polls as reported in the results of the race.

Wambugu has alleged vote rigging in the Nyeri Town MP seat, stating that even stealing of votes require intellugence.

"So in Nyeri Town we had over 70% voter turnout? Really?Even stealing requires intelligence, good people.Revisit … loading," Nyeri Town Constituency MP Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu said.

According to reports, Wambogu has lost to Invited Democratic Alliance (UDAs) Duncan Mathenge who garnered 41, 111 votes against the incumbents 11, 808.
