The Azimio la Umoja one Kenya alliance are counting less than 24 hours before assembling in Nairobi central business district for a mass action.
According to the party leadership led by the former retired prime minister hon Raila Amollo Odinga, they had made the following serious demands that they wanted the government to address:
Lower the cost of living by giving subsides to important basic commodities to cushion Kenyans going through hard economic times.
They also demanded that the president stops the recruitment of the independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman and commissioners to allow political parties to take part in the process.
Finally, Odinga wanted president William Ruto to authorize the independent electoral and boundaries commission to open the servers of the election technology used in the previous general election and be audited to determine who won the election.
Raila had revealed that a whistle blower from the commission had whispered to them that they were rigged using the election technology that was used during the August 9 general election.
Raila has now added another serious demand ahead of tomorrow's mass action.
He says that the famous Cherera four commissioners should be reinstated in office. The four commissioners resigned few months after the general election after a tribunal was formed to probe their conduct during the August 9 general election.
