We are having just six months to the general elections and none of the presidential aspirants has announced their running mates. The One Kenya Alliance is even more behind since they have not even stated who their flag bearer will be. Radio Africa media station carried a one month opinion poll to determine the best running mate for Raila Odinga.
The poll featured a number of people among them Peter Kenneth, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi among others. When the results were released, Peter Kenneth was at the top of the list as the most preferred running mate for Raila. Kalonzo Musyoka came second with a preference of 13.2%.
Musalia Mudavadi was third with 12.1%, Martha Karua forth with 10.6%, Hassan Joho 4.9%, Gideon Moi 4.3% and last was Fred Matiang'i with 3.7%. 11.4% of those that participated were unsure of who will be the best running mate.
