Ndindi Nyoro's Words Come Back to Haunt Him

Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Samson Nyoro's words some years back has come back to haunt him.

The lawmaker since yesterday has been complaining about the use of excessive force by state machinery in the Juja by-election has been reminded by his controversial words after the 2017 general election.

Nyoro was quoted saying the country needed a dictator because democracy was wasting the country's time and resources.

He published an article on one of the dailies, supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta to be a dictator for him to deal with his political rivals, then ODM leader Raila Odinga and his NASA counterparts.

"My thoughts a few weeks ago in the Saturday Nation… Democracy is a waste of time and resources… We need a benevolent dictator to put our Nation in order… We are African and Africa is our Business," he had tweeted.

Yesterday he experienced the same effects of a failed democracy and was one of those who took to social media to cry.

Blogger Robert Alai has since reminded him of his past stand on democracy.
