Ledama Olekina who is the senator for Narok county and the leader of minority in the Senate today tweeted on his twitter page that Painful Reality:- We are our own enemies! Somalis hate other Somalis especially those doing well. Maasai look down on successful Maasais and the story goes on. In Kajiado It’s Land matters Maasai Vs Maasai in North Eastern Somali Vs Somalis on trade. when will we ever learn!
The problem is with the successful lot. They always look down on those languishing in poverty and misuse them or take advantage of them in one way or the other. The rich should treat the poor with dignity and stop seeing themselves as demigods in their communities.
Erooo for the first time I agree 💯 with you it seems you have healed from bomas drama and you are right no one wants to see another one successful have never known why its like witch hunting and I feel like other people like putting others down.
The question to ask. Are the "successful people" genuine or exploiting their own people. Sometimes, the local leaders/successful people are only brokers who mortgage their people's rights and future for their own personal benefits/interests expecting the community to keep quiet.
